Once again, the 7th Auction Of Malaysian Commemorative Currency and Banknotes with Special Serial Numbers is back again. It is to be held this Saturday, 10 March 2018 in Sasana Kijang, Money Museum of Bank Negara located along Jalan Dato Onn. MNP Auctioneers (Central) Sdn Bhd is the official auctioneer of Bank Negara’s Money Auction and will be proudly auctioning off a total of 295 lots this time around. Registration will start at 8.30am onwards and will close at 10am and will reopen once the auction has commence.  We wish to invite all our loyal bidders and numismatic fanatics to come and not miss out this special opportunity to own a piece of Malaysian History. The auction of commemorative currency and Ringgit banknotes with special serial numbers will be conducted on Saturday, 10 March 2018, 8.30 a.m. onwards at the Auditorium Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia. The auction will be conducted by the Bank’s appointed auctioneer, MNP Auctioneers (Central) Sdn. Bhd. (MNP).

On auction will be 76 pieces of commemorative banknotes issued in conjunction with the 60th Anniversary of the Signing of the Federation of Malaya Independence Agreement.

In addition, 195 pieces of gold commemorative coins issued in conjunction with the Installation of His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong XV will be auctioned.

The Bank will also auction circulation banknotes with special serial numbers such as sets of the first 10 banknotes (e.g. BW0000001 – 0000010) and super solid numbers with repetitive prefix (e.g. BB8888888).
